This is the primary purpose of her position. Local issues with licensing, planning, or permits? Jill has relationships with City Staff, Commissioners and City Council. She’s on the Board of Directors of LA County BizFed, and Co-Chairs its Small Business Committee, giving her broad exposure to County and State legislation. Gone are the days of “Mixers”. Our events will begin with an engaging speaker or relevant expert–something you can actually use to grow your business. Afterward, you’ll find connections with like-minded people seeking mutual success. We’ll only hold events at Member locations because the NEW CHAMBER will showcase our members to the community. Our digital marketing campaign includes targeted advertising to use our huge base to promote our Members. The NEW CHAMBER makes it a priority to showcase our Members on social platforms for collaborative growth.
Education & Innovation
Hands-on workshops, subject matter speakers, and public official forums to keep your business issues in the spotlight, along with specific NEW CHAMBER resources to help you implement marketing and management tools for your business. If you need a resource to help you implement an idea, we will help you make those connections and take the headache away. Members enjoy a weekly email centered on issues related only to Members, with links to City/County/State restriction updates, business resources, ways to participate in promotion, upcoming events, funding sources, and more.
The New Chamber ‘Making Waves’ newsletter has over 10,000 subscribers. Our website Events Calendar also expands your promotional exposure including a section titled ‘Swell Things’ where Members can prominently post monthly promotional flyers about special offerings or advertise their business. The New Chamber will host multiple expos and events throughout the year where only Members can purchase pop-ups to promote their businesses, including an opportunity at the Skechers Holiday Fireworks event.

The New Chamber subscribes to Placer.ai and Members benefit from our strategic use of its location analytics. The software can assist in determining visitation trends, trade areas, personal demographics, and much more. This assists in understanding customers’ behavior, to determine where best to distribute chamber publications to target advertising, where to focus digital marketing efforts and event management.
